Shirin Dehghan Joins Arkwright Scholarship Event Supporting Engineers of Tomorrow
Oxford, 28th October, 2025 – We’re pleased to share that our CEO, Shirin Dehghan, was supporting The Smallpeice Trust Arkwright Engineering Scholarships Event at the Reading Town Hall last Friday, 24th October 2025. Through STEM, the Charity strives to inspire young people of today to become the change makers of tomorrow. Shirin has been a trustee for two years and takes an active role in inspiring and developing the next generation.

Shirin joined her fellow Trustees to present our young scholars with their certificates and take part in discussions and activities aimed to encourage creativity and awareness of building fruitful careers in engineering. The Arkwright Engineering Scholarship Programme is supported by leading industry organisations who sponsor 100s of talented young men and women every year to pursue a career in engineering.
The Smallpeice Trust is a charity focused on inspiring young engineers since 1966. The charity has awarded over 8000 Arkwright scholarships, partners with over 1000 schools across the UK, delivers courses and STEM days to over 50,000 students and partners with 100+ prestige corporate and educational organisations.
