Oxford Algorithms’ Shirin and Sabrina launch a podcast, “The Alpha Wo-Men”

Oxford, 4th July 2025 – Oxford Algorithms is proud to support our CEO, Shirin Dehghan, and Business Development, Sabrina Chiang, in launching a podcast channel, “The Alpha Wo-Men”.

Our podcast channel is not the typical market talk – it’s where hedge funds meet real conversations, covering leadership, strategy, and the “aha” moments that shape careers in the world of alternative investments. Each 20-minute episode features insightful chats with another alpha person in the hedge fund space — from allocators, founders, BD leaders, to investment consultants.

Our first episode features Sabrina in conversation with James Orbell, advisor at Oxford Algorithms. During the interview, James reflects on his 30+ year journey in the financial industry, including a decade leading multi-billion-dollar fund of hedge funds platforms. He shares valuable insights on what he’s learned, how the industry has evolved, and why relationships still matter.
